Leather lane, HS2 crossing site

Between Wendover and Great Missenden, on the east side of the valley, along Leather Lane heading towards the Lee. Between the trees is the exact crossing site of the HS2 rail link. Oilpaint on canvas. Painted on Sunday 12th October, mostly overcast, and cold, but gradually warming. In the still air, a most tranquil morning, with only the odd comment from people passing in their cars.
